As an artist I find inspiration through observing, in dialogue, in self-perceived situations, through interaction and in the questions that arise when faced with something that to me isnew, something that triggers, fascinates and or annoys me. I often find my self drawn towards formats of expression or subjects of interest that are some how outside my knowledge or comfort zone. As for now my focus is drawn towards various formats where one verbally or oral can express a point of view, this attracts me simply because I, myself would be unsure of what to express within these formats.

From working on more introverted topics, my interest has turned more towards the world beyond myself. I have an increased interest in social, cultural, economic and political issues related to: human dignity, gender equality, immigration, social and economical hierarchies and the environment. I look at whats beyond from an personal point of view, and how I meet, see or react to the world is influenced by where I am, physically and mentally at that given space in time. My work has in recent years taken the form of performance, as sculptural objects that require or invite the audience to participate, in flag form, as photo, or as text. Textile is a recurring element in my practice, as a material and as a source of inspiration. I am drawn to the material because of its structure, its inherent qualities, its uses, and because of the social, cultural, personal, historical references and associations the material contains. I am in Barcelona much because of my strong fascination for what I see as the extended use of textile in social, cultural and political contexts.

I graduated in 2013 with a Master in Fine Arts and a Bachelor in specialized art textile from Bergen National Academy of Arts and Design in Norway.
