Pamela Martínez Rod

 

Visual artist, mother of two, university teacher, graphic designer at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Bachelor and Doctor of Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. Dedicated to his artistic work he has participated since 2002 in numerous exhibitions in countries such as Spain, Germany, USA, China, Mexico, Chile, among others and artistic residences among which stand out the one held in the CED of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona MACBA. He has received scholarships and grants for various projects related to photography, illustration and artistic research. In 2014 he published his first book of photographs Memoirs Anónimas resulting from a personal work of mourning through photomontage. In 2018 the research book on Latin American photography La imagen Missing is published by Ediciones de la Universitat de Barcelona. She is the author and illustrator of children's books and co-creator of the collection Tesoros Humanos Vivos con CEPA of Adolfo Ibáñez University. She is currently a teacher in UOC, part of the Ibero-American group Plataforma Vértices and co-editor of the Cota Magazine of Valparaiso.
