time in the woods

imprecise and biodiverse atlases of possible instants

The project Time in the forest. Imprecise and biodiverse atlas of possible moments seeks to question the scarce and accelerated time typical of our contemporary times, contrasting it with the extensive and cyclical experience of time in the landscape, where nothing is urgent or forever.

In this presentation we will expose the Atlas, with the traces left by the actions we have carried out during our stay at the Can Balasc biological station (Collserola), where we have discovered, together with scientists and artists, evidence of other ways of living. time.
During the meeting you will be able to enjoy the pages of this artist's book, as if it were a navigation chart that will facilitate the discovery of your own time where everything can be possible.

*there will be snaks and some more surprises!

He uses research to observe contemporaneity, paying attention to the systematization of creative processes and representation policies. She has developed a methodological toolbox called Entrepensar, to explore and question reality collectively, generating knowledge through the use of artistic languages. She has been a resident artist at Hangar as part of the Espais C program.

Gemma Paris she places pictorial research in the study of botany, focusing on the strategies of relationship, resilience and growth of the vegetal world, inviting to situate ourself in countries of aesthetic resistance through drawing.
